Brighton Construction is one of the Island’s largest General Contractors and Construction Managers. Brighton has been in operation for 14 years and has successfully completed in excess of 400 million in total projects. Brighton focuses solely in the Commercial and Institutional market.
Brighton Construction is looking for a Mi’kmaq or Indigenous individual to assist on site for the new First Nation’s owned building in Charlottetown.
This Individual will function as an assistant Site Superintendent under the main Site Superintendent who has over 35 years experience managing construction sites.
The individual will also report to the Project Manager and assist with Project Management activities.
The assistant Site Superintendent will assist with site management, scheduling, trade coordination, quality control measures, and health and safety programs.
We are looking for someone with one of the four following backgrounds:
- Past experience as a construction site superintendent or project manager
- Carpentry background with at least 2 year’s appropriate experience on commercial or institutional sites
- Construction Management or Technology degree from Holland College or similar institution
- Recent engineering graduate
