    Corporate Services Payroll Processor/ Administrative Assistant

    The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI is looking for a reliable Payroll Clerk/ Administrative Assistant for Corporate Services to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. The successful candidate will be part of a team environment, working together to ensure that the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting requirements for the organization are met. The ideal candidate for the position has a strong background in Payroll, Finance and HR practices, is a skilled multi-tasker, is comfortable working within varying types of business units, works well with minimal supervision, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines and can be entrusted with confidential information relating to all areas of the organization.

    Child & Youth Care Worker – Child & Family Program

     

    Location: Abegweit First Nation, Scotchfort

    The Child & Youth Care Worker is responsible for providing residential services, outreach, and intensive support and direction to children and youth of high needs on behalf of the Child & Family Program. The Child & Youth Care Worker will work from a team and community-based approach to implement plans of care that most effectively meet the development needs of children and youth involved in Child and Family Program. The Child and Youth Care Worker will work closely with the community, family members, and other significantly involved, in addition to the child and youth, and will be able to flexibly adapt available services to the needs of the children/youth. The Child & Youth Care Worker will work under the supervision of the Child & Family Team Lead in Abegweit First Nation.

    Job Posting: Child & Family Team Lead – Child & Family Program

     

    Location: Abegweit First Nation, Scotchfort

    The Child & Family Team Lead has the responsibility to ensure program staff have the support and supervision required to complete their job duties effectively and responsibly. The team consists of a Family Therapist, Family Support Workers, and Youth Care Workers. The Team Lead will also liaise with the PEI Department of Social Development and Housing to support the delivery of child protection services in a culturally sensitive manner. The Team Lead will work under the supervision of the Confederacy’s Child & Family Senior Program Coordinator.
