Family Support Worker, Abegweit PRIDE Program

The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI’s Child and Family Services Program, provides family support and prevention services to Lennox Island and Abegweit First Nation families.  The Lennox Island team consists of a family therapist, two family support workers, a community child and youth care worker and a team supervisor.  The Abegweit team consists of a family therapist, two family support workers, two community child and youth care workers and one supervisor.

The Family Support Worker will provide primary intervention and support to children and families requiring services as determined by the service case plan.
