by Admin
Reporting to the Director of Integrated Resources Management, the Fisheries Biologist is responsible for conducting research, performing experiments, and gaining a better understanding of the fisheries in which PEI First Nations participate in. The Biologist will assist with field research by taking measurements, collecting samples, performing tests, and analyzing results to learn more about the fisheries, their composition, and habits, as well as how they behave, reproduce, and relate to their environment. You should be familiar with biology, chemistry, research techniques, and laboratory procedures and equipment. You will be responsible to attend industry meetings on fisheries and reporting back to PEI First Nation communities.
