Indigenous Justice Court Worker

Location: Charlottetown or Summerside

The Indigenous Justice Court Worker will provide culturally appropriate services to Indigenous people and communities consistent with their needs.  Reporting to the Senior Program Coordinator of MCPEI’s Indigenous Justice Program, the Indigenous Justice Court Worker will assist persons involved in the criminal justice system, provide referral for clients with substance abuse and mental health issues and provide advocate services for Indigenous family and youth.  The Indigenous Justice Court Worker will also be responsible to the needs of the community by providing quality, innovative and educational options where people are treated with dignity and respect.
