Secure Status Card

The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI is collaborating with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) to better assist individuals wishing to apply for, renew, or replace their Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS). As a designated Trusted Source Organization, the Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI can assist with completing and submitting applications, certifying the required documentation, identification and the requisite photographs, and eliminating the need for a guarantor. This service is offered, free of charge, to all persons already registered under the Indian Act on an appointment-only basis.
