The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI is thrilled to welcome you to Epekwitk, Mi’kma’ki for the Atlantic Indigenous Climate Change Gathering. As a forward-thinking and solution-driven event, this unique gathering will bring together Atlantic First Nations, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, community leaders, and allies to address the urgent impacts of climate change.

By focusing on Indigenous communities, the Atlantic Indigenous Climate Change Gathering aims to build more inclusive and effective climate change response that respects and integrates their unique knowledge and experience. The event will discuss existing climate adaptation, mitigation, and strategy development.
