Family Therapist – Abegweit First Nation

Location:  Scotchfort, PE
Position: Permanent, Full Time 37.5 hours/week 
Salary: $79,326-$99,236

The Family Therapist provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families as part of the prevention services team of professionals. While the role may involve public education at times through workshops (primary prevention) most of the work is in the areas of secondary and tertiary prevention services.

Registered Nurse – Community Health and Trauma-Informed Care

Location:  Summerside, PE
Position: Full Time 37.5 hours/week for 1 year with possibility of extension
Salary: $38.90 – $47.47 per hour

The successful candidate will provide trauma-informed and culturally relevant information and services through comprehensive and holistic triage and assessment of needs. This position will work closely with the Indian Residential School (IRS)/Indian Day School (IDS) support staff and clients to provide psychologically safe, appropriate, and accessible services and programs.

Registered Nurse – Navigational Support

Location:  Summerside, PE
Position: Full Time 37.5 hours/week for 1 year with possibility of extension
Annual Salary: $42.35 – $52.09 per hour

The successful candidate will provide guidance and navigational support for Mi’kmaq families to appropriate mental health resources and ensures delivery of professional nursing care utilizing evidence-based practice; makes decisions within his/her scope of practice and is accountable for competent, ethical, and safe delivery of services.
