Orange Shirt Day – Lennox Island

In honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, Lennox Island First Nation will be hosting an event at John J. Sark School Gym.

The schedule includes:

10AM – Opening Prayer & Smudging 

10:15AM – Opening Remarks  

10:30AM – Recognition of Survivors  

10:45am – Honouring those who have passed into the spirit world  

11:00am – Lighting of the Honor Candles  

11:45am – Community Feast 

12:30pm – Resiliency Walk
