Red Dress Day, observed annually on May 5th, is a National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG2S) in Canada. It serves as a reminder of the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people, and is a call to action to address systemic issues of violence and discrimination.
